We were founded back in 2006 with the mission to be a place where we can grow the sport of powerlifting from grassroots through to elite level lifters. A space for Powerlifters to learn and be part of community. British Barbell is registered as a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC 04310), and has been supported by Sport England, the National Lottery, The Foundation for Sports and the Arts, Grassroots Grants, and the Capital Community Foundation.
